Where to get ready?

So I am planning to stay at the Grand Floridian the night before my wedding at the Wedding Pavilion. I am getting my hair and makeup done in the room and of course that's where I'll be putting on my dress. My photographer is coming to take some "getting ready" pictures too!

My question is.. if I stay in a standard room will I have enough room to do all of these things? The last thing I want is to be bumping into beds trying to get into my wedding dress. I have never seen the rooms at Grand Floridian but I have been looking at pictures online. It's so hard to tell!

I know there are larger rooms like the ones that are Octagonal but I don't want to spend so much money on just one evening for myself. I'll only be there that evening after my rehearsal dinner and to get ready before my 10 am ceremony.

What would you suggest?

The GF rooms are larger than most hotel rooms, but still not ideal for wedding preparation. There isn't a lot of space between the beds and the walls. I would recommend getting a king room, which gives you more floor space, or a lodge tower room, which have an additional, separate, seating area. If you don't mind splurging for concierge level, the deluxe rooms (possibly the octagonal room you've seen) have extra floor space, as well.

Here's a great site with extra information on the different room types at the Grand Floridian:

Edit: For some reason, they filtered the web address. I suppose it's advertisement. Well, the site is called Where The Magic Lives. PM me for more GF info.
