I have just been reading about all the healthy menu changes and I am getting a bit concerned. My son is 6 years old and somewhat of a picky eater. I was thrilled when WDW added carrots as an option to fries because I felt like my son previously ate fries with every meal when we at WDW. He will eat just about anything I make at home but when we are away from home he won't eat much besides kid-food (hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken strips, pizza, macaroni and cheese). He won't mind a wheat bun on a hot dog or hamburger but there's no way he will eat chicken noodle soup, grilled chicken, and celery sticks as his meal!! I'm really afraid he won't eat at all!! He tends to eat very little as it is and is on the skinny side. Are people now leaving WDW to eat if they need to find "kid-food" or can you still get it somewhere?

I think you will be fine-I think the concerns you have been reading are a bit overeggagerated. The changes are fairly minor. Go to wdwinfo.com and check out the menus if you want to pre-plan. There is also a McDonalds in every park for those kids who only eat that sort of stuff. Rest assured, my guess is your little guy will be just fine!:goodvibes

Also, unless you are on a dining package, there is no need to order food for your child from the kids menu. Many restaurants have burgers or chicken on the adult menu, even if there isn't the same option on the kids menu.
