My sister will be staying at Pop Century and my family will be staying at WL. We're staying one day longer than her, so on the day she leaves, can she bring her luggage to WL and leave from there or does she have to get the DME from Pop Century?

Well she can leave her luggage at the pop and have DME take it if their as long as their are cheeked bags. She can request to to picked up at WL and take DME to the airport...

I asked disney about that because Im eating at Cheff Mickeys the last night befor my flight and she I would have to ask the cheek in person but she said it should not be a problem .
I would hate to give bad info so I would say just call DME for the offical answer...

Nope, she has to leave from the resort at which she is registered. Sorry. She can check her luggage very early that morning, so that shouldn't be an issue. But she will have to get herself back to POP about 30 mins before her DME pickup time...she may have left carryon bags at Luggage Assistence and you really do need to be at the bus stop about 15 mins before the stated time.

Have to agree. There may very possibly not be a bus that is making a stop there simply because no guests needed one at that time. Disney 'may' change this down the road, but as of right now, you are required to take the bus from your resort. Disney CMs are notorious for giving out not so correct info. Seems to be easier than asking the guest to hang on for a moment while they get the correct info.

Here's how we know you were given bad information by someone who clearly has no idea what she's talking about ... there is no DME "check-in person" at any resort.
There are no DME cast members at any resort.
There is the Resort Airline Check-in folks from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., but not only are they totally unrelated to DME, they aren't even Disney cast members. Those folks can't help you with DME bus issues any more than the pool life guard can. And the people working at the resort front desk and Lobby Concierge desk are equally uninvolved in DME operations; they can't help with DME operations either, as they have nothing to do with it.
When you catch a DME bus, the only person you interact with is the driver him/herself. And at that point, it will be too late to do anything besides pay for a taxi to get to the airport.
You can always try to call DME directly at 866-599-0951 (don't call the main Disney number for DME issues, you'll more than likely just get more bad info like you got before) ... it never hurts to ask, but please don't be surprised when you're told that she'll need to catch the DME bus at the resort where she was staying.
