Where to get Birthday Cake?

We will be arriving in the world next Saturday, 5/23. The family that we are vacationing with has a daughter whose birthday is the 24th. Anyone know where they can get a cake for her? looking for lots of suggestions!

Are you looking to get a cake from somewhere offsite or from Disney?

Last year, we special ordered a birthday cake from Disney and we were able to have it available when we ate at 1900 Park Fare. It wasn't cheap, but not outrageous either.

Disney has some great cakes that you can special order for the restaraunt or delivered to your room.
If you have a car you can pick up a nice cake at the Walmart bakery just down the street from DTD on 535. Take a right off Hotel Blvd and watch for Walmart on your right about 1/2 mile down.
Target also has a bakery (on 192), and Public's is again, just down the road on 535.

Im assuming they want to get a cake from disney rather than offsite. Maybe, have it delivered to the room (if possible). We have no ADR's.

Goodings, by downtown Disney, has a large selection of special occasion cakes, cupcakes, and other goodies.

Try calling the Boardwalk Bakery. There is a cake hotline number, but I don't have it with me. If you call the Disney Florist tomorrow, anyone there can give you the number for the cake hotline.
