where to get a sit n stand stroller

I am looking for internet sites that sell these. I have found one on ebay (new) for $179+35 shipping. Not sure if this is a good deal. I looked on the sites under the stroller link and didn't find any there. Anyone??

That sounds about right. We bought ours @ BabiesRUs in 1999 and paid about that much. The shipping is high. Have you checked BabyDepot or BRU stores? Also, check consignment shops & yard sales. I sold one in April at a yard sale for $25.

I got one for a trip to WDW, found it at a consignment store. it was in pretty good condition. It went for about $200.00 but got it for $70.00. Used it on the one trip to WDW and never again. It was too heavy and bulky and didnt fold very good!!!! If you are getting it for that reason make sure its what you really want and its comfortable!! We ended up giving it away to one of my DD classmates's Mom who needed a stroller. I have searched on ebay as well but the shipping can be very high....Yard sales and consignment shops are a good way to find them!!!!

My only suggestion is that if you have not used one yet, don't buy one until you do. The older style blue ones were very long and somewhat cumbersome. The new style grey ones are a little more compact and easier to manuever, but can still be a pain if a child is on the back that weighs more than 40 lbs. It makes it real hard to steer.

I found one here for $189. Sit n Stand Stroller @ Babycenter
It has free shipping too although it does say delivery surcharge for oversized item. Pricegrabber has the total as $201. ($11.55 for the shipping.)

My SIL got one out of the Pennysaver for $25 for her Disney trip this past June. She said it was ok. A bit heavy and bulky but for $25 it was worth it.
For a $100 more you could get a Peg Pliko P3 and it has the little foot things for a kid to stand on. It's not a big platform but it's really a nice stroller. I got one for our Disney trip and just love it. My 5 and 7 yr olds can stand on it just fine. It folds nice and compact too.
