Where to get a GOOD STEAK in EPCOT that's not at LeCellier?

we are making ADRs and i anticipate not being able to get a LeCellier ressie on such "short" (4+ months) notice... so where else in Epcot can we get a good steak, preferably for one DDP credit... if the answer is "no place" then we'll likely go to Yachtsman and pay for our Cape May breakfast OOP :)

The best steak I had in Epcot last summer was at the Rose & Crown, and before I get flamed we had eaten at LeCellier two days earlier. The steak at R&C was so tender and juicy not like the one at LeCellier. It was so good I asked to see the chef and made the comments to him.

We have had good steak at Rose and Crown. But the best steaks we had last trip were at Kona and surprise- Coral Reef! We thought both of these places had better than any steak we have had at Le Cellier, plus better service than we have had our past 2 visits...

My wife's steak at Chefs de France was great during our visit there in February. Coral Reef always provides a great steak.

thanks! we already have a CR ADR but i wasn't thinking "good steak" when i made it... now i can add Teppenyaki (they offer filet mignon as well) if i am no longer on a steak hunt!

On a visit to Le Chefs during Thanksgiving last year, I asked our waiter: "If you were entertaining a good friend here, what entree would you recommend?" Without pause, he said, "Our filet, mon ami." And when I said, "medium rare," he just beamed: "Very good!"

And he was spot on. We're big LeCellier fans, but this tenderloin was all I could've asked for. Correct temperature, proper seasoning - no complaints here.

we've heard the same, that the prime rib is really good at coral reef (surprisingly, for a supposed seafood restaurant) - i'm planning to get it when we go - oddly, our last visit to le cellier was less than perfect - both our steaks (DH: sirloin; me: filet) were very dry, overcooked - heard that the steak is also good at coral reef, so we're going to try it!

I wouldn't rule out getting Le Cellier, though. You never know till you try! Maybe not at a prime time, but for early or late dinner, or lunch, or whatever. We have 4:10 ADR for dinner there...Which kind of hacks me off because I had asked for 5:30 on September 12th and I made these reservations just a few days after the 180 mark and then I saw someone post LAST WEEK that they made ADRs for Le Cellier for September 12th and were told that they had their pick of any time from 4 to 8 p.m. Huh? Then why was I told I had to take 4:10? Oh well. I didn't call and try to change them...

perd, perhaps it had to do w/party size?

hmmm... Le Chefs was also on our "short list" but got ditched... oh, decisions decisions decisions... i hate being in charge (well, okay, maybe i don't really! ;) )

In DEc had a great steak at the Coral reef.

We do not like Coral Reef because both times we've eaten there it has been very loud and we've had problems with obnoxious kids (first time I was knocked into a waiter and we both almost fell after some kid running down the stairs to the tank ran into me knocking me into the wall and the waiter and the second time we had a table right next to the tank and a little girl (9 or 10 y/o) kept climbing onto the back of our chairs to take pictures. She even knocked my mom's drink into her lap.) Saying all of that though, I got the best steak of the trip there both times we went (and we also ate at Le Cellier and Rose & Crown both of those trips).

I just had the NY Strip with the Beef Demi Glace at Coral Reef last week and it was AMAZING... YUMMMMMO
