I've been looking for the Body Glide stuff that I've read so much about and unable to find it. Okay, I've tried to two stores (Walmart and Walgreens), but I'm limited on time (1-1/2 days to go) and hope someone here can help. Does anyone know where I can get this stuff?

Thanks!

Umm...sorry if I sound a little unknowing, but, what are Body Glides? Is it some kind of body deoderant.

I use Glide for my underarms, haven't tried the entire body though. Bet I'd smell interesting.

No, silly, not on your whole body! Its for your feet to prevent blisters and your thighs if they rub together.

I couldn't find it locally (tho didn't check at a sporting goods or athletic store), so I bought it online at drugstore.com. Maybe try Big5 or GI Joe's (I think the closest one to you is in Federal Way around 148th & Pacific Hwy.) Or maybe you could call them to see if they carry it rather than losing time driving to different stores.

Oh, just ran the search by zip code - Looks like REI in Southcenter area or several locations (REI, Sports Authority, etc.) in Tacoma will have it.

And here I was expecting something else completely :teeth:

Yeah, I didnt really know what it was until I googled it for this thread. I thought it sounded like something from an, um, and adult store. :rotfl:

okay now everyone will really laugh but I just bought some this weekend from a large sorting goods chain here in the east. ( The store is Dick's Sporting Goods :rotfl: ) Anyway, was happy to find it and was pretty inexpensive about $7, in the footwear section. We go to WDW this weekend & I have high hopes that it will keep our feet happy! :cool1:

Now everyone get your minds out of the gutter ( you were thinking of a similarly named product, my dh said the same when I told what i wanted to stop at the store for this weekend!)

So.. how do you use it? Just rub it on your feet and put your socks over?
Sounds sticky :rotfl:

That is what I was picturing, something sticky you roll over the bottoms of your feet and between toes, but people swear it prevents blisters, so I was gonna give it a go. I figured it was either that or the ugly rubbery clogs others swear by... and I just couldn't bring myself to do the clogs! :rotfl:

My mind wasn't in the gutter (until I read all the posts here, ha!) I was picturing SANDIEGOFAN all greased up and getting on a wild ride and shooting off into space, though - WAHOO! :rotfl2:

Key word here is "Glide". Things that glide are typically not sticky.

Had to do it. Here it is - I'm thinking of getting it for my chafed....well, I won't go there.

From head to toe, Bodyglide arrests friction and creates a smooth, non-oily, protective barrier that is water, sweat and rub resistant. It even works on your hands. Because there is no petroleum,it won't clog pores. Instead, it penetrates your skin right where you put it. Perspiration escapes and your skin breathes. And BodyGlide helps skin retain moisture. It offers protection in hot or cold weather. The all natural ingredients wash-off with soap.

Use everywhere - on hands, feet, legs, inner thighs, under arms, shoulders, chest(nipples), with sports bras, supporters, braces, bandages, compression garments
Just one application protects against chafing, blisters, rash, saddle soreness and skin irritation.
Applies directly from a convenient roll-on stick, and it's both water and sweat resistant.
Used by worldclass athletes for years, the advanced technical formula in BodyGlide gives you dependable protection and long-lasting comfort against friction.

Hey, I resemble that remark! Then again, I'm always oily.
