Where to find the chracters?

I'm just putting the last bits and pieces together in my "info book" and I'm a bit stuck as I can't remember where you can meet certain characters in the Universal parks. Does anyone know where you can meet SpongeBob Square Pants and Scooby Doo? What other characters can you meet in the US or IOA?

Spongebob has his own separate greeting area just as you come off the Nicktoons Blast (Jimmy Neutron) - turn left as you exit the ride before you get to the gift shop.

Scooby Doo (as DD reminds me) was near the Curious George waterplay area.

This was 2 years ago however

Ones that I can remember meeting at US and IOA are the Simpsons, Curious George, Woody Woodpecker, Dora the Explorer, Popey, Olive, Bluto, Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and 2, Grinch, Spiderman and lots of other Marvel characters.
Thats about it I think but if I remember any more I will add them on

Spiderman can be seen ion the marvel area near the ride, also can meet Simpsons in the street heading up to the Simpsons ride.

If i remember correctly in universal studios, over near fivals playland and woodys rollercoaster, the scooby doo cast drive up in the mystery machine to say hello dont know how often

Ahhh thank you...SpongeBob is probably the character my two children want to meet the most at the Universal parks, and Scooby Doo comes a close 2nd

DS used to be a big Spiderman fan, but seems to have grown out of him now...I bet that won't stop him being excited to meet the man himself! Just like I can imagine DD (8) getting excited about meeting Dora the Explorer even though she's a tad old for DtE TV programmes now...she's been asking if she can meet Hanny Manny at DHS!

Ohh I didn't realise they had an actual Mystery Machine too!!

Oh we won't...I've already jotted down where they can be found...that was what got me thinking about the other characters when I realised that I didn't have any idea where they are to be found!

Thanks everyone...have filled in my "little black book" ...well it's more like a A5 jotter with tabs...but it's got all my little bits of info in it that I think I might need.
Now I must get back to the packing, otherwise we won't be going tomorrow!!
