I am leaving to for my family vacation this Fri. and i just read on here that there is a product that connects tow umbrella strollers together. I NEED this desperately. I have a 3 y/o and a 1 1/2 y/o and this would suit our needs very well. I have seen them on some websites but I don't have the time to order them.

I recently saw them at Toys r us/Babies r us and Baby Depot inside Burlington Coat Factory. On the box it says "fits most strollers" It costs about $9.99. It's near the stroller accessories, nets and rain covers.

Kep in mind that it will be much more difficult to push a "doublewide" stroller through crowds and onto the monorails.

Additionally you'll have to unlcip them and fold them each time you get on a bus.

You seriously should reconsider doing this.

I have also seen these recently at WalMart in the aisle with the baby-proofing items and same place in Target. They were 9.99 @ WM & $11.99 at Target. They work out great as long as the strollers 'fit" well next to each other and are the same size-as some umbrellas vary in size. I have used them in the past & have lots of friends who use them too.

Whether you push a double wide or a double front to back they are obviously more difficult to push that a single, regardless of the seating. The monorail will accomodate them but you may be asked to fold even a regular stroller if the monorail is crowded and will obviously have to fold them on the bus no matter what size it is. Just plan ahead and it will work out fine.

Plus with the connectors if one adult needs to head off with one child you don't all have to go, just disconnect the strollers and meet up later.

HTH! & have a great trip! :)

Thanks for the feedback. I am now considering taking my front and back double stroller. I am concerned thought because it is rather bulky and I am not sure how much rouble it may be. It will though, give us storage space that the umbrella stroller will not.

Are you going to have two people who can push? If so, I'd take the connectors if you have 2 strollers that you like and that your kids are comfortable in. If necessary, you can add storage bags for the back and cup holders for the pusher before you go. You can buy all of those things near the connectors.

With a double stroller that's front and back, you'll spend a lot of time getting your kids in and out. Plus, if one parent takes each child and you split up for a little while, one will have to go without a stroller. Two single strollers will fold up pretty small. As long as one of you can easily carry both strollers and the other can easily manage both children, I'd go with the 2 strollers.
