Where To Find Mister Fans

I'm sure I've seen them at somewhere like WalMart, but we were there today and didn't see any. Just wondering if anyone has found them here. I sure don't want to pay the price they want for them at Disney! Thanks

I would wait until next week when it is officially summer!

Scratch. I haven't heard from Cass for ages. I feel horrible because I've kind of dropped the ball with keeping in touch. I'm going to send her an email today and let you know how she doing.

We've been using mister fans for years and have a trip coming up this month. I decided to try something new because last year I got stuck carrying everything. I was sick of lugging that mister bottle around and truthfully- we use the spray feature tons, but not the fan. I saw a thread here a while back that mentioned a "Misty Mate" personal sprayer/cooler and looked at their website. www.mistymate.com

WoW! $40 (on sale for Fathers day) $34- not including shipping. Although it looked like a great design, that was a steep price!

I saw it at walmart last week for 13.97 ? or something close to that! I got one. It was near the camping section- not with the summery seasonal stuff.

it hold 16 oz. of water (or ice water) and does not require any batteries. You just pump it up to pressurize it. The mist that comes out of it is very fine. The kids tried it out the other day in the yard and it was great.

The best part is that it comes in a pack that you wear just like a fanny pack. No more carrying it on a shoulder and having it thump thump thump me on my side for 16 hours a day!

I got a Misty Mate for Ryleigh when we went in 2001 and we love it. It's a lifesaver and much more portable than a Mister fan. It is like a thin thermos with a lid and a pump in the lid. You fill it up with water ( And we use Ice too!), pump it and turn the knob on the hose and a nice fine mist comes out. It lasts forever and stays cool in the bottle. Real easy to pack in luggage as well!

I'll have to take another trip to WalMart and check in the camping section. I was looking in the summery section and when I asked the sales associate about them, she looked at me like I had three heads!

I'm sure it would come in handy around here this summer even before we head down to WDW!I just might need it if I'm forgoing AC in my new house this summer for a Disney trip!
