Where to find jeans that fit?

My DD 10 is incredibly thin. She prefers skinny jeans but every pair she tries on is way too baggy on her. She is 4'10" and has a 25" waist. I have had no luck finding jeans that fit her. Jeggings are baggy on her. She really is a toothpick! So where would you recommend looking? I haven't found any at Justice, Old Navy, Childrens Place or Kohls!

Rue21 size zero. They may be a little long, but that's exactly where we got my daughter's jeans at that size (she's now in a 1/2 and is 5'1" and 80 pounds).

Have you tried Gap? I have a super skinny 5 year old and she wears their skinnies or they use to make (not sure if they still do) skinny minis. She has also had good luck wearing jeggings.

Subscribing to this! My DD9 is built the exact same way. We've had the best luck with Old Navy super skinny jeans with an adjustable waist, but they are still baggy

I would try any place that has juniors 0 or 00. It will be eqivilent in the waist to about a girls 10 mabye a little smaller. There is a huge jump for a girls 10/12 to a 14/16 as far a waist size. The only porblem you may have is the fact that they are cut for a more mature figure. My DD has muscular legs and hips so while a grils 10/12 fits her waist it will not go over her legs. A 14/16 will go over the legs but falls down at the waist. Juniors size 1 short has been our savior as they are cut a little more generous in the hip/thigh will girls are completely straight so they fit her waist and allow for room in the hip/thigh.

I second the Gap. DD13 wears a 12slim and we always look for the super skinny styles. They seem to fit the best that we've found.

Ooooh! Subscribing to this thread! I have a 6-year-old who is really tall so we had to move to 8's but they literally fall off her. We've tried tightening the waist band but she HATES the feeling of the extra elastic. Would much rather find something that's too long and roll it up or hem it than something too big in the waist!

Abercrombie. I've had the same problems and Abercrombie regular and Abercrombie Kids are great! I have a friend who is 5'5 and under 100 pounds and Abercrombie Kids is the only place she can buy jeans. Their a bit pricy, but they have a lot of sales and you can get them for a reasonable price. The quality is also very good.

Also wanted to suggest Aeropostle or Aero Kids. I know the regular store has skinny jeggings in a 00; the Kids line may have that as well.

My DD is almost 12 and is only 4'8" and about 85 pounds. She does not like Justice anymore. We have had good luck at Aeropostale. She can wear the 00jeans/shorts (she still has to use a belt sometimes) but they are cute and can always get them on sale for 40-50% off. They have some really cute colored jeans out too.

We've had luck with PS Aeropostale for my 11 year old dd. We usually get the skinny jeans.

At that age my daughter had good luck at Justice with the Slim Skinny Jeans. Once they age out of that we went to Aeropostale for super skinny jeans in the smallest size they have, 00.

That's tough you might need to buy juniors sizes and hem the pants. I buy mine at Gap and Hollister (I'm so ashamed of being an adult and shopping for myself there:rotfl: ) Also try out American Eagle, I've had luck with the 00 there since they run smaller than other stores around the waist. Some types/styles are tighter than others. I think at age 11/12 my mom started getting me juniors sizes since kids didn't fit right anymore. Higher end department stores seem to also carry good fitting small sizes. Or try Tjmaxx or other discount stores in the women's section.

Try gap petite 00. The 0 is about a 25 inch waist and the 00 is a 24

Aeropostale. Only place I could buy for my oldest at one point. They sell 00 and also come in short, regular, and long. Sometimes the small sizes are out of stock in the store but you can usually order them online. DD was a 00 long for a while and aero was the only thing that fit. Thankfully she is now 13 and is finally "filling out" so buying clothes isn't as difficult!

My older dd (12 yrs) is about 58 inches tall (4ft, 10in) and has a waist measurement of 23 inches. She has never liked justice jeans because their waist is huge on her.. so up until now we've always bought adjustable waists at kohls, etc. but the legs/hips were always pretty baggy looking. And she does not like jeggings (has slight sensory issues so the "hugging" feeling really bugged her).

But we were at the mall the other day, and on a whim, decided to have her try a couple pairs of jeans at American Eagle, and their size 00 fits her pretty good. The waist still has a bit of a gap, but not that noticeable, and most of her shirts hang over the gap anyway. But the legs and butt on them fit her perfect. And the best part is, she loves them!
