Where to find info on my points?

Where can I find information about exactly how the point system works. I'm looking for further information about banking, borrowing, using the points through the year.
I was waiting for points to become available for the UY that I wanted and they have. I'm doing everything over the phone... and my guide seems to be very busy (everytime she calls me, she gets a call and I can hear in the background that she has guests waiting for her.) So far, we have not had time to go through the point system info with me... Does anyone know where I can find it online?

Are you wondering how to make reservations or how to use your points? Check the link on this page at the top (DVC Point Charts). Plug in your dates, your resort, type of room and it will give you the number required for a stay. If you haven't purchased them yet, just plan on not using them until after mid-Jan as the odds of finding something available for the rest of the year is not good.

I am getting an October 2007 UY. So, I have 160 points from 2007, 160 developer points, 160 points that will be available in October 2008.

I am taking a trip at the end of october and hoping to get a 1 Br at SSR. That will use up 195 points. I understand that I will need to bank some of these right away, but I just don't understand the process of banking and/or borrowing. Do I just call and tell MS that I want to bank points. What if I decide that I want to use points after they're banked? If I borrow points and then have to cancel... what happens to the points? These are the types of questions that I'm still unsure of.

Do you have that one bedroom at SSR yet? If not, you need to get your guide on line to make sure they can get it for you if it's not available. Use the developer points for that stay. And add the 2007 points for the rest of the stay. DPs expire after 11 or 12 months and cannot be banked.

Bank the rest of the 2007 points as soon as possible if they will let you. You are already past the banking deadline for the 2007 points. Again, get your guide involved with this. You can't bank points once you are less than 4 months from expiration for that year.

If you need to use the banked points, you'll have to wait until Oct 1, 2008 to use them. But you could borrow the 2008 points for a reservation from Oct 1, 2007 until Sept 30, 2008. If you borrow points, you can't unborrow them. That's a final transaction and they would have to be used before the end of the year you borrowed them into.
