Where to find beniets...?

POFQ in the food court....we stayed there last year and MMMMM were they good!!! It's definitly worth a bus trip over to that resort IMHO

I've no doubt they are not as good as NOLA beignets, but if you can't get to NOLA, they are at least a tasty substitute.

I tried Beignets for the first time ever at DL (Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen)....I got hooked - I think I had them 3 times on a 4 day trip - lol....they were always piping hot and fresh - mmmmmmm so good!

I LOVE beignets. We make a trip to POFQ just to have some every trip. I have also had the real deal in NOLA. They are not quite as good as those, but as long as they are fresh, they are still really good!

You can make them yourself too...buy refrigerator dough biscuits and flatten the heck out of them and then deep fry them and dust with powdered sugar....I make them for my hubby all the time

The beignets at POFQ are nothing like the ones in New Orleans .

I agree. We stayed at POFQ and they were freshly made and were not good. If you have had the Cafe du Monde beignets you will be disappointed.
