Just curious, if you could eat at only two restaurants for breakfast/dinner anywhere in the World, where would it be and where would you avoid at all costs?

where I would eat ..

breakfast - Spoodles
dinner - Flying Fish

where I would avoid ...

breakfast - Ohana
dinner - Alfredo's

We really did not do breakfast. So for dinner I would definitely do Le Cellier :thumbsup2 and I would avoid ABC Commisary :guilty:

I would go with

Breakfast- Donald's Breakfasaurus at AK
Dinner- Ohana's (I'm a Ohana's addict!)

I completely agree! In addition to Le Cellier I would not miss Boma, which is great for both breakfast and dinner.

Besides ABC Commisary (food was so bad I threw the whole meal out...ew, ew, ew), I would avoid the way overpriced Tony's.

Breakfast - First choice is Whispering Canyon Cafe, second choice is Cape May Cafe.

Dinner - I'm not particularly attached to any one specific place.

I would definately eat at Boma :yay: in the AKL for either breakfast or dinner or both - it is that good!!! I also enjoyed the Crystal Palace in MK (but it might be more fun with children because there are characters pooh: :eeyore: ). Chef Mickey's was also a good choice at CR.

I would stay away from the Whispering Canyon in WL just because I am a vegetarian and they basically just had a wide variety of meat. But if that is what you want, you should try there.

This is tough! For dinner, my first choice would be the Rose & Crown right before Illuminations. My second choice would be the 50's Primetime Cafe. Have had excellent food & service at both places and are a must dine for me on every trip.

For breakfast, I'd say the Crystal Palace.

The place I would avoid at all costs would be Chef Mickey's for dinner.

My favorite breakfast is Boatwrights at Port Orleans. They used to (don't know if they still do) have a stuffed french toast. OHHHHHHHHHH so good. It was stuffed with bananas and strawberries(?) and then fried and sprinkled with sugar. Of course i was pregnant on that trip and I ate it every day!

Dinner I have to list 3- Garden Grill, Liberty Tree Tavern and Primetime Cafe! I hate to have to choose!

Dinner Le Cellier, Jiko
Breakfast Chef Mickies, Main St Bakery

Avoid Dinner Cape May so far that is the only one.

I'd pick Kona Cafe' for Breakfast and Tony's Town Square for dinner.

I haven't had a truly awful breakfast yet, but I'll avoid Biergarten for dinner from now on.

We've only been to DW once but we ate a lot! :p

Yummiest Breakfast: Chef Mickeys (the earliest, peaceful quiet seating. Very nice and fun for my girls!)

Yummiest Dinner: sorry, can't help here. I like everything.... Most fun dinner was definitely Biergarten!

To avoid: We hated Crystal Palace for dinner because it was PURE CHAOS!

Have fun!
Lesley

The most important advice I can give you is to avoid ABC Commissary. Avoid it for breakfast, avoid it for lunch, avoid it for dinner. Avoid it Monday through Friday, avoid it on the weekends too. Holidays are good times to avoid it, as are regular days. I highly recommend a blanket multi-seasonal avoidance policy.

Tough choice!

Breakfast - Chef Mickey (esp if you have kids!)
Dinner - Blue Zoo

Avoid - Shulas - the food was fab and so was the service but it was lacking in atmosphere!

Top 2 for Breakfast:
Boma
Fresh

Top 2 for Dinner:
BlueZoo
California Grill

Avoid at all costs:
Anything in MGM - no good food ever came out of MGM IMHO
Chef Mickey's Dinner - truly inedible.

Breakfast Top 2: Crystal Palace and/or Concourse Steakhouse

Dinner Top 2: Flying Fish and/or California Grill

Breakfast: Crystal Palace (loved the puffed french toast!)
Dinner: LeCellier, Mama Melrose, Liberty Tree Tavern

Snack: Elephant ears at Boulangerie Patisserie in France ... YUM!

Top 2 for dinner:
Artist Point & California Grill

Favorite Lunch:
The Garden Grill

DH isn't a breakfast person...so I haven't really tried many places for breakfast. I'm draging him to Kona Cafe for breakfast when we are there this Christmas. (at the very least he can enjoy some pressed Kona coffee!)

Dinners to Avoid:
Biergarten-German food not my thing...
Pretty much anything in MGM-they need a good restaurant there

Love the Fulton at the Marketplace for Dinner and we used to enjoy Palio in the Swan but it closed and is being redone.
