Where to Eat when @ Disney for 1 night?

We are getting off the Ruby Princess Cruise Ship on Sunday, Nov.28th in Fort Lauderdale and flights back home are crazy in price that day, and the crowds will be nuts. So we decided to extend our holiday to Monday and drive up the coast and booked a cheap non-stop flight home out of Orlando.

The question is: For 4 adults just spoiled by cruise food, where would you recommend making reservations for dinner at Disney on Sunday night?

One of my favorites for atmosphere is The Wave at The Contemporary. The lounge there is great. I liked the food a lot too where as most don't. The beef tenderloin is excellent and the desserts are awesome.
I really like Fulton's Crab House too. I had delicious king crab claws there last fall.

Hmmmm.... So no buffets I'd figure. Probably not the steak or sea food.

Wave would be fine. How about something at the Poly to watch the fireworks? Or maybe tour the Boardwalk area having an appetizer and a drink at a few of the places (combines excercise and eating...). Kind of a mini food and wine festival.

Also probably no Indian or African on the tour boat so Sanaa or Jiko come to mind. Then you can watch the land animals from AKL. Again order several appetizers and wine. Or do both. Good long walk between the two resorts.

Just an opinion, but after being that spoiled for a week (don't you just love cruises?) I would definitely go with a signature. If I were picking I would go with Artist Point because it's my favorite, but California Grill or Jiko would be excellent choices too.

I agree with the idea of a signature and would like to suggest Flying Fish. The food and service are excellent and depending on the night you go there may be street performers on the Boardwalk. A trip to JellyRolls after dinner is also a possibility. It's also a nice experience to visit AKL in which case Jiko or Sanaa would be good possibilities.

Here's my input...Flying Fish, Il Mulino at the Swan, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Artist Point, Narcoosee's, Citricos....those all would fit the bill. Now if you really want to end your vacation with a bang, try getting Victoria and Alberts that night. You'll probably already have dress clothes with you and I can guarantee it will blow every cruise meal out of the water...no pun intended!!

Excellent suggestions! From very formal since we've been doing that all week to a more casual non-stuffing event. We are definitely taking our friends to view the fireworks and usually like to park ourselves on the Polynesian Beach and watch the water pageant parade as well. You all seem to know exactly what we're looking for and I'll present the options to our friends who are new to Disney. If only we had more time - but I do consider it a bonus to get even one night in!
