Where To Eat Upon Arrival

HDDR has very similar food to the WCC IMHO. We loved both, but if you're not crazy about WCC, you may want to rethink HDDR.

We actually did like the food at WCC but you can pay less for the same food there by going for lunch. It's not as good of a bargain at dinner. It was really the service we had an issue with. We had to constantly track down our server and call upon other servers for more food and drinks. He did apologize at the end of the meal. I wasn't crazy about the atmosphere either.

If you do go to Trail's End, I "think" I've heard they serve the same food as at HDDR. If you don't make it to HDDR this trip, but do eat at TE, you'll know if you like the food or not!

It would be cool if it were the same food. You don't need ADRs for Trail's End, right? That makes it an even more appealing option for us for arrival night.

I think HDDR has MUCH better food than WCC. Similar style maybe, but much better quality.

we have enjoyed several meals at GF Cafe. relatively quiet even though it shares a wall with 1900PF. i too am curious about Wave.

I would like to try both The Wave and the GF Cafe at some point. The menus both look interesting. We have done 1900 Park Fare.

Just throwing my hat in the ring for Trails End.

No matter where I'm staying, my first meal is there.
I love to head over to the Contemporary and hop on
the boat to Fort Wilderness and eat at Trails End. It's
a wonderful ride and really gets me in the mood after
a long journey from home to The World.

Good food, almost never much of a wait, fun atmosphere
and excellent staff is, for me, a great way to start the
vacation.

I'm getting pretty excited for Trail's End with all of these great reviews! Rikki over at the Be Our Guest Podcast gave it a great review also on Friday. Sounds like a plan.
