where to eat Thanksgiving diner????

Is Hollywood and vine - a character meal or is that a seperate ressie???

H&V is a character meal only at lunch...
If you reserve for dinner, it's simply a great buffet...and the least expensive option for the Fantasmic Dinner package.
It was a great place for us to have Thanksgivng in 2005 and we are really looking forward to it again this year. :goodvibes

We're another family going to the HDDR for T-Day, but I think I will miss Tigeraholic and pirateofthecarolinas since we go at 5 pm. Tigger- aren't you later??

I think it is the most kid-friendly there is for T-Day!

Our first thought was WCC, but, hate smoked turkey and have been reading pretty graphiac reviews of it lately.

Our children have never been to WDW - this will be their first trip - so I booked HDDR for dinner at 5pm! Does anyone know -will they have Turkey and such?

Booked Boma for breakfast - can't wait to try it out.

Cindy's castle for breakfast on Sun morn - CM, CP, H&V, CR, AC - did I leave any essentials out???? :dance3:

We are going to try to get WCC, but I can't call until Friday. So here's hoping!

Wow - great ressie report and the pics are fab - great info - thanks!:)

Last time we were at WDW for Thanksgiving, we did Thanksgiving at the Fort. I just tried to book it for this year, but it's not in the system and all LTT are gone!

Please tell me how Thanksgiving at the Fort was!!! I have it booked now but would love to here your review on it! We wanted to do something really special as this is our first Thanksgiving at Disney!!!!

Yes, we are going to the 7:15 show. We are planning on doing Universal on Thanksgiving and avoiding MK. We did this a few years ago and the crowds were light. :)

They told me it wasn't in the system yet when I called Tuesday!!! DD is driving me crazy right now. I'm being told so many conflicting things. Anyway, we went in 05 and really enjoyed it. However, we had a back-up plan in case of bad weather. I think the cancellation policy is a couple of days so we just watched the weather. My kids enjoyed it. They were 11, 6, and almost two then. Be early!!!!!

Here's my update. Called a few minutes ago and told no it's not in the system yet. I knew you had this so I called back. I got it the second time!!!! I didn't know which time to take. I'm going to have to ask dh when he gets home! Thanks so much for letting me know you got it!

I wanted the 5:00 show but Cat. 1 was sold out. So I took the 7:15 show. I hope we get great seats.

Tiggeraholic, I hope to see you there. I'll be there with all of the grandparents, DH, DS13, DD11 and DS5. Party of nine.

Okay - now I can say we ARE going to eat at WCC...:thumbsup2 Later than a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, but normal time for dinner. Soooo....

I also made brunch reservations at Boma. The CM said they were listed as having regular brunch with some holiday extras, even at breakfast, so we shall see!

We are a party of ten...two families in cat. 2.

I will be there will my husband and two daughters, 13 & 18 and their friends also 14 & 18. My husband's college roommate, his wife and their two kids, boy 15 and girl 9.

We may be easy to spot. My daughter turns 18 on 11/22 and my youngest best friend also turns 14 on that day. Needless to say HDDR already knows! :scared1:

We are going to Boma a little early (4pm.) Last year we did Le Cellier and it was very good. The year before that WCC. It was fun but the food was kind of cafeteria like. The year before that LTT.

DH really wanted to do the Hollywood Brown Derby so That is the ADR I got.. I think it will work out great since our ADR is for 4:50.. Then we'll wander over to see the Osborne Lights.. I am so excited!

Without a doubt - Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom. The food is just right for Thanksgiving, plus Goofy, Minnie, Pluto and Chip & Dale will be there.

I agree! They have the turkey etc...
Love the characters!
I would do LTT also!

We ate our traditional turkey meal early in the week @Liberty Tree because we were going to be @Epcot on Thanksgiving day. We at @Teppanyaki and the family loved it just because it was so different. I suggest you decide where you want to be on Thanksgiving and then make a decision based on that. I would never go back to MK on Thanksgiving day because some years ago we did and it was chaos. Others may have had a different experience.
