I have been out of the loop for quite a while in regards to WDW. I would like to know where the good food is at nowadays in the parks. During our last visit in '08 we found the food to be pretty good at most of the restaraunts.

The most memorable were Ohana's, the Pub in "England", Le Cellar, and the restaurant in the Japan pavilion. I was told CA grill at the Contemporary was great, I thought the sushi sucked.

We are staying at the Poly, and have the deluxe dining plan. It is ok if the recommendations require 2x credits. The last time we visited we had the deluxe plan and it was a ton of food, but we ended up using the credits up at the Hoop De Doo Revue and a few other credit hungry spots.

FYI I do like to partake in the adult beverages and am not afraid try oddball cuisine.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this situation.

I see you've already eaten at some of my faves: Ohana, Rose/Crown, and Teppan Edo. I love them all! :)

Here are some other suggestions:

MK: Liberty Tree (oh so yummy!); Crystal Palace (pooh characters)
HS: Brown Derby (2 TS); Sci Fi (drive in theme, good ribs/burgers); 50's (servers scold customers and treat them like family...good food).
Epcot: Via Napoli/italian; Biergarten/Germany;.....btw, le cellier dinner is now 2TS credits.
AK: Tusker House breakfast (characters: Donald/daisy/pluto/goofy.). Food variety is great!
Resort restaurants: Narcoossee's; Citrico's; Artist Point; Yachtsman (all 2TS).

Artist Point is my favorite restaurant out of the signatures (and in general at WDW). The cedar plank salmon and fresh berry cobbler are delicious, and the menu has some inventive choices (currently they have a crab salad appetizer with cucumber mint sorbet and black sea salt).

one more suggestion:

Havent been, but I heard these are great: Boma (buffet....traditional PLUS exotic offerings. Both at bf & dinner).

Sanaa has an interesting menu and you get a nice view of the giraffe's/animals. Both at AKL.

I would look at the menu's on this site http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/disneydining.cfm#resorts and on allears.net.

I have to give an enthusiastic:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 for all of the restaurants at AKL: I think Boma is one of the best buffets in all of WDW; Sanaa's atmosphere and cuisine is truly excellent, and Jiko's is (IMO) one of the most underrated of the signature restaurants. You won't go wrong with any of these.

A co worker told me that the Yachtsman (?) steak house at the Yacht Club Resort rocks. Any thoughts?
