Is there anywhere I can go to see the different places to eat outside of Disney?

I don't know about a place on the Internet but there are many good restaurants just outside the WDW property. There is a Golden Corral just outside of DTD with a Lone Star across the street from that. A Perkins and a Red Lobster at the Crossroads Mall, again just down the street from DTD. There is a Logan's Steakhouse ( my favorite ) down on 192 and another by the Wal Mart on Orange Blossom.

If you Google "orlando restaurants" you'll get links to several good sites such as the Orlando Dining Guide, City Search, etc. I like Urban Spoon, too. Most of these sites allow you to search by area (Disney, Kissimmee, etc.) and by food type (steakhouse, Italian, etc.) and show you a map.

Thanks.

There is also a CiCi's pizza out by downtown disney, you go out and when you reach the end by the shopping center you make a right, CiCi's is on the left no more than a mile away. It is a pizza buffet with small salad selection. It is cheap (like $6) and yummy!!!

How is the pizza? Only because we are from Chicago and are leary about eating pizza elsewhere because it is usually terrible.

If you like seafood, make sure to check out Joe's Crab Shack on Apopka Vineland Road...just up from The Crossroads.

It's a fun place and the food is great!

Cheap yes, yummy not around here they aren't. :lmao: (but the kids sure think so)

I always suggest to use google earth for that type of of info just look up WDW and it I look around the DTD area like towards the crossroads area and there is all sorts of places to eat there. like I know their is a chili's, ponderosa, cici's pizza and a bunch of more places.

I definitely wouldn't recommend eating CiCi's. But there's a Giordano's not too far from the Downtown Disney hotel area at 12151 S Apopka Vineland Rd. Mmmm. That's got an honest Chigcago pedigree. :goodvibes
