I need some suggestions on where we should eat our first night at disney world (my wife and I have been there in the past). We will have our 2yo son with us and his grandmother.

We are getting to Orlando in the morning, but grandma is not landing till a bit after 3 if the airline gods are gatious to us. How long should we allow for her to get to the hotel on the magical express, checked in and the get to a park to meet us.

Where do you think we should eat (we will have tickets to the parks for that day) and we are on the dining plan. We are staying at the CSR.

I already have reservations at:
Crystal plaza
Coral Reef
Hollywood & Vine
Ohana

I would give her a good 3 hours or so to get from the airport to the resort, check in, and make it to the park (that may be a stretch). It all depends on how long the magic express lines are.

As you know, dining reservations are crazy at Disney. I guess it really depends on what park you will be at that day. We go very often and I find that most of the table service restaurants are pretty good. Good luck and have a great time!

We are taking our 2 yo this March. We have a ressie at Chef Mickey's our first evening there. I wanted to give her a chance to get used to the characters right away, so she could ease into them, outside of the park. Not sure what area you're going to be in that day but another good option for that could be Garden Grill in FW @ Epcot. Which park will you be at and will you have a hopper? Will grandma have a car or be using the bus system?

I enjoyed Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club. You would be best to cab it over from CSR.

Other suggestion is a restaurant on World Showcase like Le Chefs de France, but would add to the travel time to get there....

I was going to decide which park to go to based on what resturant we decide on. i thought about chef Mickeys, but cant get a reservation till very late.
grandma will be taking the bus to wherever we are to meet up with us.
