Hi all.

hope you are all well. Just trying to think of a nice meal to get our holiday up and running, any ideas,

heres our criteria.

we are 4 adults staying on i-drive. We will be tired from the travel and would like to have a decent meal but not a posh one if that helps.

thanks in advance.

Whereabouts on I-Drive? If at the southern end near Pointe Orlando, these are a couple which spring to mind:

Dan Marino's Town Tavern at the Pointe;
Cafe Tu Tu Tango;
Bahama Breeze (which I hate, but gets rave reviews);
Race Rock.

Have to rush out, but I'm sure someone else can fill you in on a bit of background to these. Failing that, I'll check back in later.

I'd have to say Chilis - it's my fave restaurant and all the times we've visited, we've never had a bad meal. There's one quite near the Quality Inn International, about a 5 minute walk. There's loads of other restaurants round there too. Not sure if you'll be nearby but it's definitely worth a visit while you're out there.

I'd second Tu Tu Tango, but you might have to queue, whihc is a pain if you've just arrived. It might not be "posh" but I love IHOP. Great food, excellent service, good prices.

Chalk one up for the Olive Garden - great Italian food and not too pricey. The warm fresh breadsticks are just scrummy. Or the other place we like is Uno Chicago Pizza - good food with a mean All American - apple cumblely thingy - yummmmm!!

We really enjoy Wild jacks steakhouse, sawdust on floor(not quite) but very informal and right in middle of I drive, otherwise I agree Olive garden is lovely and great value and also Chicago uno's. If you want somethiong quite healthy Sweet Tomatoes on I drive is amazing, massive salad bar plus pizza pasta, jacket potatos, soup, desert bar and fresh fruit plus drinks for about 7 dollars.
ENJOY whereever you go.

Thanks all,

So many great places to go cant wait, I went to chillis back in 2002 on i-drive and again in Boston last year great food all round and great service. I like the sound of the olive garden so its a bit of a coin toss.

thanks again
