Where to eat on Fantasmic night?

Hi there, we have all our ADRs booked for our upcoming Sept trip apart from our HS day. Was hoping to go to Chef Mickeys but couldn't get a booking so had to change that for another night.

Does anyone have any suggestions of a TS restaurant we could go to, either onsite or off? (If on, one that l might still be able to get an ADR for?)

Am happy to go outside the park as we're staying offsite and will be driving. Don't know if there's anywhere nearby people would recommend, or if we could maybe go to DTD and get back in time for Fantasmic?

Thanks in advance, l'm stumped! :confused3

You won't be able to get a Fantasmic Dining Package (all the Sept. seating was snapped up weeks ago), but you might be able to get an ADR at Mama Melroses, Sci Fi, or 50s PT. You can check availability for your date on the WDW dining website. Just know that since you will have to stand in line for Fantasmic, you will need an early ADR. You could also check out availability at one of the Boardwalk resort restaurants.

If it was me, I wouldn't try dining in DTD and then try to make it back to DHS in time to get in the lineup for F. Travel time would take too long (JMHO).

Good luck

We are having dinner at Cape May at the Beach Club on our HS day. We are then planning on taking the boat back over to HS for Fantasmic :cool1: My parents ate there on their last trip and LOVED it and we have read many other good reviews. You might consider it as well :thumbsup2

I love Brown Derby in DHS. Very relaxing and excellent food. Another good option is Sci-Fi Dine In or 50's Prime Time (if you like their antics, which I don't).

Outside, but near, DHS you have Kouzzia on the Boardwalk or Captain's Grill at the YC. I like both and would recommend getting an early ADR to ensure you make it back to DHS long before F! starts.

Thank you all for your replies.

I hadn't thought of looking at the nearby resorts, but the boardwalk definitely sounds like a good idea.

One query though, can you drive there or do you go by boat? If its by boat, is it for Disney hotel guests only or anyone visiting the parks? :)

Disney transportation is for anyone visiting the parks. You can either catch the boat, or it is a short (15 min or so) walk from DHS entrance to the Boardwalk area and Beach Club.
