Where to eat near Regal Palms

Due to stay here from 9th June. 1st trip with the family ( 2girls aged 5 & 11). Anyone suggest restaurants, shops nearby? Also anyone stayed here before and if so any tips??

Hi Miffy,
It's in Davenport - off Sand Mine RD. It's part of the Highlands REserve Resort. I've found quite a bit of info about it on here since posting this morning. I'm still navigating my way around this mesage board!

Hi,
A friend of mine has a property at Regal Palms and we called to have a look round on our trip last Xmas. The site has a bar and restaurant and a mini waterpark area with a lazy river. From memory I think there is a Publix supermarket at the top of Sandmine rd with a few other shops too.As for other dining I guess you would need to drive to the nearby 192 area where you have a huge choice of restaurants.

There is a Chinese and pizza take a way in the Publix plaza next door.If you travel north up the 27 toeards Clermont and the Wal mart you will also find an Indian take away which is very good as I sampled it only last week -this is just by the traffic lights at Polo park .A little further up the 27 there is Randy's Family restaurant- not bad at all.
Head south on the 27 and you will find a Cracker Barrell, Bob Evans Southern Dunes golf club whose restaurant is open to the public ,Green Leaf chinese restaurant , Red pepper lounge , Fish Tales and a Beef O'Brady's all varying distances but non really far past Haines city.Otherwise head back along the 192 for the more usual ones

you are only 5 mins drive from 192 with lots and lots of eateries
