We will arrive early afternoon and plan to hang at the pool for a while and then go play a round of mini-golf. What's close to Winter/Summerland? We're looking for a resort/out of park table service. Would O'hana be hard to get to using Disney transportation? We're staying at POR and we have 3 boys who will be 10,9,8 when we travel...We're doing Chef Mickey the next day, so any other ideas?

Thanks!

Whispering Canyon would be a fun choice for a family of 3 boys. It is in the Wilderness Lodge so 15 minutes by car. CSR is right across from the golf but I would not want to eat there. BOMA at AKL is closeand yummy.

If you are on the DP I'd suggest the Pepper Market CS restaurant at CSR. I ate there after my round at that mini golf course. Very close by and you actually get a server to help you at the table so it can feel a bit more like TS. You still order and pick up your food at stations just like at any CS. I thought the food was good, not exceptional. There is a 10% service fee there, but it is included with your DP credit.

Just take the resort bus to Blizzard Beach, walk across parking lot to Winter/Summerland to play golf. Then catch resort bus to whichever one you decide to eat at.

Be sure to allow time for getting to another Resort--and even more getting back to POR.
IF you do O'hana, at least you can get on the Monorail and get back to the main bus lot to get the bus back to POR.
