We have 5 & 7 year old kids. What restaurant would be the most fun for dinner? Leaving this Saturday!

If you are leaving that soon and don't have an ADR you might be somewhat limited by availability (for example Le Cellier would be tough to get).

Are you looking for a character meal? Garden Grill has Chip and Dale and is served family style. The restaurant slowly rotates around the Land attraction.

Coral Reef has views of the aquarium in the Living Seas.

Biergarten is a German buffet with a band that plays music.

It's fun to watch the chef prepare your food at Teppanyaki.

A lot depends on the type of food you like.

We liked San Angel Inn. They have a cool volcano and the whole place looks like you are in Mexico at night. My 5 yr old nephew liked it so we both won.

My girls favorites are Le Cellier, Coral reef, and Teppanyaki (they are 5,3..the baby doesn't count yet..lol)

I just got back and had the opportunity to share a meal with my friends -- and our 4 kids -- at the Garden Grill. We saw many more characters than Chip & Dale, the food was good (but pricey - $24 a head?) and the scenery awesome. The kids dessert was decorating their own cupcakes -- boy did they have fun!

We did France in Epcot with the kids -- I though the food was just so-so and would not return. Nice view though.

We were there a couple of weeks ago. Our favorite was Le Cellier for the food, service, and atmosphere (in that order). Can't tell you if how great it is for kids...our 3yr old actually fell asleep in the stroller right before our ADR time and they let us push it right up to the table. He slept through the entire meal (the was after our mid-day break at the hotel during which time he refused to fall asleep [sigh]). Anyhoo... the kids desserts were really great looking. I almost wanted to order one, lol. Last minute ADR's for Le Cellier are probably hard to come by but definitely give it a try if you're interested, you never know. If you're flexible with your time you might get lucky.

Our 2nd favorite was the Coral Reef. We enjoyed our meals, the chocolate lava cake (I think that's what it was called) was to die for! So yummy. :) I loved looking at the aquarium and seeing Mickey swim by (what a surprise). The only downside to this restaurant IMO was the noise level. It was extremely loud in there. Probably due to the massive number of children and also the fact it has an amphitheatre design. Even so, we will definitely go again someday.

Btw, www.allearsnet.com has menus of the restaurants in the Dining section. Check those out if you're wondering what kind of food is being served, especially if your kids are at all picky as the children's menus vary.
