I agree with everyone here! Carnation Cafe (table service), Wine Country Trattoria (table service) and Taste Pilots Grill (counter service) are all great. River Belle Terrace is also a nice counter service place to eat. Some folks like Plaza Inn and Bengal BBQ too.
Even though it has gotten mixed reviews lately, I actually think Storytellers Cafe in the GCH is ordinarily a nice restaurant to eat in for lunch or dinner (non-character meal). Many folks rave about Steakhouse 55 in the DLH, and PCH Grill in the PPH has the GIANT "Kitchen Sink" dessert - which is 8 or 10 scopps of ice cream, tossed into a 'sink' bowl with cake, cookies, candy bars and all kinds of different toppings. It is decadence on a plate.
In DTD, I really love ESPN Zone and Rainforest Cafe and I do enjoy Naples, while other people love the Jazz Kitchen or House of Blues or Tortilla Jo's. But if you can stick with eating in the parks or in the DLR hotels, you are at least still 'in the magic' somewhat.
