Hi there,

We've been to Disney many times over Thanksgiving and dining is easy there.

Has anyone eaten in Cocoa Beach prior to taking a cruise on Thanksgiving. We will be sailing on the Magic the Saturday after Thanksgiving (06). DH has to be back in the room by the time the Dallas Cowboy game starts that evening. I think around 6pm, maybe 5. I teased DH that we could always have pizza in the room while he watches the game but he said ABSOLUTELY NO PIZZA on Thanksgiving.

I'm wondering if a majority of the restaurants will be closed on Thanksgiving like they do around here, or if because Cocoa Beach is a tourist area it will remain open.

Looking for what others have done? I even thought about Grills around 3:30pm-4:30pm to see the Wonder off. Not sure if they would serve something more "traditional Thanksgiving" on that day or not.

Thanks in advance.

We really like The Mango Tree. I have no idea if they will be open on Thanksgiving or not but here is their contact info:

Mango Tree, The - 118 N. Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach. 799-0513. $$$$$

The only place that I know of that we've eaten at in Cocoa Beach before that would most likely be open (other than pizza hut that is) is the resturaunt inside the Holiday Inn hotel there. I haven't been there in a long time but I remember the food being very good.

Hi there,
For most part believe it or not, our restaurants are open during thanksgiving.
Now as time gets closer and the information comes out in the newspaper, I will post all of them including hours, prices and addresses of all the places.
If you have any questions, you are most welcomed to call me at the shop

blessings always

We were in Cocoa Beach last Thanksgiving and the 2 choices we had for dinner were the IHOP on the A1A or driving back to the I95 and going to Cracker Barrel. We are from Canada and had no idea that most restaurants would be closed on Thanksgiving as most (if not all) restaurants here in Canada are open on our Thanksgiving (which is in October).
