Hi there!

We are arriving on Thursday night 2/9 at around 8:45. Any suggestions on where we should head to eat? Thinking something fairly light, but not quick service.

We'll be staying at Ft. Wilderness, but we will have access to a car.

Since we don't have park tickets (and they will be closed already), any suggestions would be appreciated!

Hey there!

Since you won't be going into the parks, I recommend eating at Ohana that night. It is located at Disneys Polynesian resort. It's amazing. Wonderful atmosphere, and they bring you all you can eat southern pacific foods. You start of with coconut or pineapple bread, so yummy, then they bring you salad, dumplings, wings, veggies, openly grilled steak, chicken, shrimp, and pork. And top it all off with a great warm bread pudding with ice cream on top. Highly record this place!:)

HTH!

I have the same question. We are landing at 840 pm on Feb 26th and be the time ME get us to Saratoga I doubt anything will be open. Sorry I didn't help you with an answer. Misery loves company lol!

Shout out to Jersey Girl! What about just grabbing something at the airport? Otherwise, maybe your resort's food court?

Figuring that by the time you get your bags and then rental car, you are looking at 9:30 when ypu leave the airport. BEst best may be to eat before the flight or bring something with you. There are places on the way, but don't think you want a large dinner that late. Could try the Gooding's shopping area across from DTD, or another market like Publix get a light snack and some supplies.

Since you don't know your EXACT time, I'd skip ADRs, and just hop on the boat to the Poly and CPT Cooks. I will vouch for their Aloha Pulled Pork Sandwich....YUMMO!! Or, since you have access to a car, I know there's a Chilis close by, that's one of my favs.

We always kick our vacation off with an "app" and beer flight at Raglan Road in DTD Pleasure Island.:worship: It's festive, often there is great musical entertainment and it eases us in without a full-on Disney assault. :thumbsup2

I completely agree!!! What a great way to start off your vacation!:thumbsup2

I 2nd Raglan Road.

However, if you have kids with you, you might do the T-Rex restaurant as well. We did this last time and my son loved it.

Ohana's is also a good choice, but only if you can time it with the fireworks.

You just gave me a great idea!! Although, right now we are going over to the Poly to Kona for our first night...but I really like the DTD idea!! Yes, I may switch again...:rotfl:
