:scared: Could anyone suggest a few TS dinners where my DH and DAunt can both be happy? My DAunt likes very simple plain Americana food re; Prime Time and Liberty Street Tavern. My Husband likes a little more spicy interesting food re; Boma and Marrakesh. We will be eating 9 TS meals together and I don't know how to make them both happy.

Suggestions would be much appreciated. :)

I think that compromise will work best. At most places that are more "zesty" in the selections they offer, you can still find steak and normal seafood, etc.

One night, let your Aunt pick the restaurant (or pick one where she has a bigger selection of food to pick from) like 50's Prime Time or Liberty Tree and then another night, pick something with a bunch of options DH would like but still have something "normal" for your Aunt.

For example, at Teppan Edo your DH could get more "adventerous" food and your Aunt could get the filet mignon. Or at Ohana your DH could eat some of the more flavorful stuff they serve, but your Aunt could get mesquite bbq turkey skewers (which I would think are pretty basic). You could go to Flying Fish cafe where your DH could try something a little more out there and your aunt could try a plain seafood or chicken dish, etc.

As long as both realize that it's not only their trip and everyone deserves to eat somewhere they want, I think you should be a-okay!

OP, I feel your pain. Last Jan we took my best friend and her husband. He's the Plain Jane eater and she's the adventurous one. Never did I stress more about food than that trip.

The great thing about Disney is that you can get most things "dumbed down", without sauces or weird sides. So that is what we did. We ate at Ca Grill, Jiko, Boma, 50's, Sci Fi, Beaches and Cream, Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Yak n Yeti, Columbia Harbor House, Yachtsman Steakhouse.

The only two the husband really did not like were Boma (even the plain food had weird spices according to him) and Coral Reef was a little tough too but he managed with a Ceasar salad there. I tried to rotate the the plainer places with the adventurous places so that he was getting at least one meal per day that he was happy with. He just asked the wait staff to leave off sauces, weird herbs, tomatoes, etc.

Good luck.

You may not have anywhere that is ideal for both of them; however, Boma, California Grill, Rose & Crown, Le Cellier, Marakesh and Jiko all come to mind.

In the end, everyone (:) especially you) needs to remember that this is a group experience of Disney. This trip should be about the entire group having fun. I would go for the best atmosphere and the most fun place (or whatever criteria you would like) rather than focusing so much on the menu in terms of specific likes of any one person in the group.

Giving everyone a chance to participate in the planning is a good thing, too.

I would try Tutto's, Maya Grille, Biergarten or Chefs de France.
One can order usual food, and the other can be more adventurous.
And Biergarten is a buffet with plenty of options. I can't imagine anyone leaving hungry. And everyone seems to enjoy the band. :cheer2:

You might try Tusker House. They have lots of African food on the buffet, but also carved meat, salad, etc. We enjoyed it, and the kids ate a ton.
