We will be going to one of the Halloween Parties this year and it happens to fall on my daughter's birthday. We are planning on going to the park right when it opens and then take a break early in the afternoon to let the kids nap and get ready for the party. We would also like to get dinner outside of the park around 4-5ish before we head back over for the party. Any suggestions? I was thinking Mimi's Cafe but I am sure there are other places that would be great and we just wanted to know our options. We want a sit down place and if they do anything special for birthdays (singing, dessert etc.) that is a plus. TIA!

were eatting lunch at rain forest cafe then we will grab a few snacks at the party

Bubba Gump, CA Pizza Kitchen, PF Chang's, Johnny Rockett's, these are in the Garden Walk and close to the parks.
RFC, Jazz Kitchen, House of Blues all in DTD and close to the parks. :)

I'm doing the MHP on the 02 Oct ( :cheer2: ) and i was thinking about doing a dinner at the Big Thunder BBQ since we could chill there will the crowds come and go but dinner elsewhere could be fun as well... I'll follow this thread for any other suggestions!

We usually got to an early dinner at Mimi's if we decide to stay overnight...otherwise, Gardenwalk is an awesome choice....

We actually have a late lunch planned for BB on our MHP night. I'm hoping the CS locations stay open during the party in case we want to snack on something later. ??
Does anyone know? Now that I reflect on it, last year at MVMCP at WDW, I don't remember seeing too many available food options. . . Of course I wasn't really looking though.
I know they will be handing out Candy, but what if we want some of those Lobster Nachos, or a Soup Bread Bowl? Do those shut down at 7p when the party officially starts? popcorn::

just to clarify I think the lobster nachos are at ariels cove in dca so that place should at least remain open.

Oops! Thanks sweethannah. As soon as I started looking for them, I would have discovered that! Will make sure to sample those on my non-MHP day!
