I just found out that I will be traveling to Disney 12/29 - 1/2 with the dance team that I coach. While they're off doing their own thing, I thought I might try some restaurants that I never get to try with the kids. Any suggestions?
Many restaurants have table for two and some even have a counter area. Places to consider that I have ate at in the past while on business at WDW (Park Hopper ticker helps):
Flying Fish
Kona Cafe
San Angel Inn
Rose & Crown
California Grill
I'm actually going to Chefs de France alone in October! I hear the food is very good and this is one of the few restaurants DH and I have never been to when we're there together. So, since this is "Mommy's alone trip" I'm having dinner there.
I think Jiko is a great option as well as Cali Grill because they both have eating bars with views of the kitchen! I believe Fling Fish may also have one....so you are immersed in the action.
I say try some awesome places...I would love some alone time lol!
I travel on my own quite a bit and here are some that are really great:
Teppan Edo - the tables are 'public' so you may be seated with other you don't know. Doesn't make you feel like you are eatting alone so much. This is not for someone who is on the shy side though.
Le Cellier - very cozy and relaxing. Great beef.
Kona Cafe - good seating but can get noisy at night.
I don't know much about the Wave at the CR but sounds interesting and it's brand new.
Biergarten might be fun if you are an outgoing person. You will be seated with a few other parties at the same table. The food is great, beer is even better, & the band is the best!
