OK. . .DH and I watched the Disney show on Travel Channel last night, and we are really interested in taking the kids to see La Nouba on our next trip. Any great place in Downtown Disney to eat if we are on DDP? We never ventured out to Downtown Disney last summer on our first trip--too much to see in the parks!

And yes, it's over a year until our trip. . .I'm obsessed!!

We really enjoy Wolfgang Puck Cafe and it's very close. The food is always very good and fresh, plus they have wonderful desserts. :goodvibes

Wolfgang Puck Cafe are both on the dining plan. Cap'n Jack's and Planet Hollywood are also on the plan. I think there is a definite drop between the first two and the latter two.

If you are interested in giving your kids an adventure then Raglan Road will be a little different.

One note, most DTD restaurants are not owned by Disney. Inclusion in the dining plan is usually negotiated annually. Two things to keep in mind; 1) there is no guaranty that the same restaurants will be on the plan next year, some could be added or dropped, but the current list is a pretty good indication and 2) Don't panic if you're choice of restaurant is not included in the initial DDP announcement - it is common for the no Disney restaurants to be added later.

I think we are going to do the La Nouba thing too...I want to book the early 6pm show and they tell you to be there 30 minutes prior so I think we will just eat at WPE...food is awesome but the bad thing is it is at the opposite end of DTD!

Thanks for the info! Where we eat will probably depend on what we do earlier in the day. If we do a park and character breakfast earlier in the day, we'll probably do WPE. However, if we sleep in, eat CS at the resort, swim and spend most of the afternoon at DTD, we may eat either at WPCafe or Planet Hollywood. (I personally would like Raglan Road, but my kids wouldn't. I checked the menu.) They would probably love Planet Hollywood! I'm leaning toward WPCafe.

La Nouba was one of the highlights of our last trip. Absolutely amazing! We had a mix up in our resevations but they worked with us and we saw the show -although we were separated. You are so consumed in what is going on, it didn't matter in the least!
We had a quickle meal at Wolfgang Puck's counter service and it was just average. We were filled up with okay food but I would never do it again or recommend it to anyone.

What about Earl of Sandwich? I've heard really good things about the food. . .where is it in relation to La Nouba?
