Agreed, your children will probably enjoy Sci-Fi a lot more than the other restaurants. It's a very fun experience.
Our personal fav. at the park is Mama Melrose...you can smell it from a mile away...it has that wood oven smell, makes you hungrier by the second! Their food quite good, and service is fast as well.
For the kids though, they'd probably have more fun at Sci-Fi!

My vote is really for 50's Prime Time. Our kids love it and the food is pretty good. Even if the kids don't get it, I think the interaction will make them enjoy it.

We are arriving next week and for our DHS day I planned lunch at Sci Fi mostly for the atmosphere & to offset some of the more adventurous choices I had to include to make DH happy. For dinner that night we are doing the Brown Derby, mostly for DH who loves gourmet (aka weird) food. We are on the deluxe dining plan at his request, but my mom and niece who are travelling with us are very picky eaters. Everyone will be compromising this trip lol

We did 50's prime time last year and the food was fantastic. This year though we don't want to do the same thing again, so on our DHS day we are going to go to the Beach Club and eat at Cape May for dinner,.

Food wise my vote goes to 50's Primetime. I noticed it's not on your list, but it is really good and the theming is just wonderful!

Scifi is really nice and kids love it. The food is good, not outstanding, but not bad either.

Mama Melrose is ok as well. Nothing out of the ordinary.

As for the Brown Derby we have heard it is really good, but have not tried it. Our first visit will be in two weeks for our upcoming wedding celebrration

With boys that age, they'd probably enjoy Sci-Fi the most, though I find it too cold and dark in there. Brown Derby would probably be kind of boring for them, but I do love the food there. And Mama Melrose's I like, but I can get just as good Italian food at home.

I voted for Mama Melrose over Sci-Fi because we have always had a great time and good dining experience at MM, and we have had hit or miss experiences at Sci-Fi. We only go there now when we take our nieces or nephews because they like the experience.

I think my DS liked Sci-Fi over 50's in fact I know my oldest did not care for the good natured joking and poking fun that is done by the servers, he did not eat his peas and was told he had to or no dessert
So I voted for Sci-Fi

Our last 2 trips we have done SciFi for lunch and enjoyed our meal. We keep it simple. We are doing lunch at MM this trip, it's been some 8 years since I've done this restaurant.

I've never been crazy about the restaurants at DHS but when you spend the day at this park you need to eat somewhere, I dislike the CS so we alternate between "50" PT, MM or SciFi for lunch. I find lunch to be a little better then the dinners that are offered at these 3.

I do like BD but do not eat here when we have little ones with us.

Your kids would absolutely love Sci Fi, but the food is better at 50's Prime Time. I would pick between the two.
