Where to eat at Epcot?

I will be in Epcot two days in March, and I have a few restaurants. I have Princess Storybook, The Garden Grill, Coral Reef, and Teppan Edo. Which two of these would you choose? Also, which meal would you eat at them? What kind of food do they serve?

I would do breakfast with the Princesses, and dinner at the Coral Reef.

The breakfast food with the Princesses was very good, and it was a great way to start the day. In fact, we are going back for the second time this Friday.

I ate at the Coral Reef with my dad this past 4th of July. Our waitress was very attentive, and the food was tasty. And it is very peaceful inside, so it is a great place to take a break from all the hubub of the parks.

If you go up to the DIS header to "Dining" you can take a look at the menus for all of your choices. This will probably give a good idea of what you can expect.

The Garden Grill is another character meal with Mickey, Chip, Dale and Pluto. You didn't mention if you had kids with you, if so they would probably like it. The restaurant rotates while you're eating, my kids got a real kick out of that.

The Garden Grill would probably perfect for her. I think the kids menu(if I remember it is a buffet) was very kid friendly. I haven't been to Coral Reef, but I believe it is a more upscale menu, although they probably do have a kids menu. It does have the windows looking in to the aquarium, that might be fun for her too. My kids love teppan, but some kids find the noise and flames a little intimidating.

Are you buying the DDP or paying as you go? The best thing about Coral Reef is the desserts, otherwise just so-so. I only go if I score the free dining!

Definately do Teppen Edo - seeing them cook right in front of you is great fun!

There is a kids menu at Coral Reef but it was pretty limited.

There is also a kids menu at Teppan Edo ( one meal even comes in a small scale monorail ) If you like teppanyaki style food the food and the 'show' are well worth it.

We took our 2 granddaughters to the Princess Storybook Breakfast and it was excellent. It is served family style and as much as you would like. All the princesses come to your table for pictures and they were all great. We also love Teppan Edo but we didn't have the kids with us there.

When I was booking our trip, I tried not to put too much emphasis on other people's reviews of restaurants. Every restaurant has a bad day now and again, even at Disney. Having said that, I will say that we just ate at Princess Storybook this past Friday. It was, by far, the worst meal of our trip! We will not be returning any time soon. We did dinner at Coral Reef and it was good...nothing outstanding...but decent none the less. Either way, enjoy your trip!

Having said that, I will say that we just ate at Princess Storybook this past Friday. It was, by far, the worst meal of our trip! We will not be returning any time soon. We did dinner at Coral Reef and it was good...nothing outstanding...but decent none the less. Either way, enjoy your trip!

I would like to ask, what meal did you eat at Norway? Breakfast, lunch, or dinner? We have had both breakfast and dinner there, and breakfast was a much better experience.

We had dinner at Norway tonight, and thought it was great. The meal is in two parts.

First is an appetizer buffet with cold deli meats, cheese, salads, peel & eat shrimp, breads, herring, and several other items.

The entree selections are nice. I had the pork chop and it was delicious. It was served with au gratin potatoes and grilled asparagus.

Don't be discouraged by some unfamiliar words in the menu descriptions...food is great.

Our 5 princesses were Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White and Aurora. Something we didn't expect was that the photo package (taken with Belle at the entrance) was complimentary tonight.

Completely agree with this! The appetizer buffet is yummy-it was strange at first, but I ended up going back to get more salad. I also had the pork chop and it was probably one of the best pork chops I've ever eaten! The dessert is AMAZING. I would totally eat there again.

We had the same princesses, but I was under the impression the photo is included in the price of the buffet. DH and I had our picture taken with Belle and his face is SO red and embarrassed!! It was awesome.

We went to the Garden Grill as well and had a great experience. Minus the fact that we didn't get to meet Dale, everything-food, characters, fun rotation was a blast!

I've never eaten at Coral Reef or Teppan Edo, but I'm so over teppanyaki (we live in Okinawa, Japan right now) so the chances of me ever stepping in there are slim to none.
