I'll be there with a 9 year old fairly picky boy so I won't be visiting Emeril's or anywhere like that. Is Margaritaville pretty good? Or any others in Citywalk? Do the restaurants seem to get very busy around lunch time?

I would go to Margritaville. If you or your son are hearty eaters, try the buffet at Motown Cafe. I think it's $11 per person. A burger, fries, and drink will probably cost around $10 at other restaurants.

Your son would probably like the Hard Rock Cafe.

When we ate here last July, the food and atmosphere were good, but it was freezing in there!

Over Christmas we had a late lunch at the NBA restaurant. Lots of sports stuff all around. I would not have chosen that restaurant because I am not a big sports fan - but had heard good reviews on these boards ... and it was good!
Good service, fresh well prepared good basic food (pasta, burgers, fries, sandwiches).

Big thumbs up for margaritaville. It's a must do on every trip. Love there soups and nachos. We go for appetizers to make it thur the day mostly. We have had steak, burgers and sandwiches all very, very good. Don't forget your ap will get you a discount there. AAA card get you a discount in the store and the resturant too i think.

Margaritaville, Hard Rock, and NBA are all excellent choices. If I havent said so yet, then here it is:

GO TO NBA CITY IF YOU LIKE RIBS

I had the ribs there and they were SOOOOO good. :teeth: I HIGHLY recommend them. :) They had this zesty tang that was just yummy!

Margaritaville is fun. The Volcano is always a hit.

I you go to NBA City have the Beefsteak Tomato w/ Buffalo Mozarella and Balsamic Vinagrette. (YUM)

Thanks for all of the suggestions. It looks like we have 3 good choices. :)

Could anyone tell me how crowded these places tend to get around lunchtime? I've heard that lunchtime isn't too bad but dinnertime is very busy. Do you find that to be true most of the time?

Lunchtime isnt that busy. I've only had to wait like 10 mins max for a table during lunch times. After 7p is when it starts getting really busy.

Hi there...

I have to vote for Margaritaville... I have the world's pickiest child.. who won't touch a meal if there is a piece of parsley on the plate.

She ordered off the children's menu which was spaghetti, chicken fingers, burger or hot dog... she ate everything on her plate.

I enjoyed my meals too... especially the Cobb salad - excellent.

3 picky eaters here (the children I mean) and although we didn't do the buffet at Motown- their selection was fine for the kids and they ate well there. Our food was delicious also! :)

the food was surprisingly good and the atmosphere was adored by my 6 year old DS, race cars, car races on big screen tvs, etc.

We were quite disappointed in Marguaritaville this last time. Food was overcooked and service was terrible. We liked NBA res. and even tho it's not on City Walk, Mythos is one of our favs now. Don't miss it, if possible.
