Hello!

We are going to Disney in October and will be going to the Animal Kingdom for the first time. We will have the dining plan and are wondering where we should eat. I see a lot about Boma, but is it actually in the park? Any help you can give is very welcome!

Boma is at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, not the park. The Lodge is a 5-minute bus ride away, though, so many people go there at the end of the AK day. It's really great. The only TS option at the park right now is Rainforest Cafe, though there will be Yak and Yeti and a buffet at Tusker House in the future.

There's also a character breakfast with Donald at AK. My vote for counter service food is Flame Tree BBQ.

I loved the breadsticks at Pizzafari! Any word on the new Tusker house or Yek & Yaki or whatever it's called ? When do they open and what sort of menu??

We loved  the menu at Tusker House! Too bad they're changing it--we really thought it was one of the best CS in WDW!
Anyone have the new Tusker House menu?

I hate pizza but the hot italian combo sandwich at pizzafari is to die for, DH and I get one with a ceasar salad and split both! Yummy and not too $$.

Flametree Is A Good Counter Service And Tusker House Is To Although They Are Going To Change It. If You Go To The Donalds Character Breakfast Be Sure To Go To The Earliest Time, We Went At The Latest Time And The Food Was So So. I Think It Was More Due To They Were Cleaning Up And The Food Was Getting A Little Cold. Enjoy Your Time.
