Hi everyone! We are doing the DP on our trip, which starts in 20 days. We have ADR for our evenings....Backyard BBQ, Mama Melrose for Fantasmic, Akershus for Princess Storybook Dinner and Liberty Tree Tavern. My question is...where would you recommend to eat lunch at the parks in the subject. Obviously, these would be the counter service meals. I'm hoping for some input, cuz we really would hate to waste time and $$ eating something not so great. :confused3

Thanks for the suggestions!! :thumbsup2

MK - Definitely El Perico y el Pirata in Adventureland for tacos
or Cosmic Rays in Tomorrowland for hamburgers (they even have a fixins bar for the burgers) or you can get chicken/ribs - all very good food imo

HS - I like Toy Story Pizza Planet best for lunch - great pizza, salads, etc. - very good value

AK - I haven't personally eaten there, but I mom highly recommended Flame Tree BBQ for lunch here

DAK- Hands down Flame Tree BBQ. Fantastic food.
Epcot- I really like the CS place in China (Lotus Blossum Cafe)...Japan (Yakatori House) is good as well...as is the Sunshine Season Food Fair.
DHS- Pizza Planet is good so is the ABC Commissary.
MK- I really like Cosmic Rays. They have a big variety and the place is huge with a lot of tables so you can generally find a seat, which is not the case in other CS locations.

For Magic Kingdom, we love Columbia Harbor House. For Epcot, Sunshine Seasons; for Hollywood Studios -- we don't like any of them; for Animal Kingdom it is Flame Tree Barbecue hands down.

Okay, looks like the clear winners will be:

Cosmic Rays in MK

Flame Tree BBQ in AK

Pizza Planet in DHS (my son will LOVE this, he's a huge Toy Story fan)

Thanks for the input!! :cool1: :cool1:

If you don't want Flame Tree at Animal Kingdom, the Pizzafari is pretty good too. Lots of air conditioning and Hidden Mickeys.

The fixin's bar at Pecos Bills in the Magic Kingdom is awesome! Lots of fresh veggies, sauteed mushrooms and onions too. The salads are super good.

With kids, you gotta eat at Toy Story Pizza Planet at Hollywood Studios. It's a can't be missed. Bring along some extra cash as there are lots of arcade type games for the kids to play.

We aren't very adventurous eaters like other Epcot visitors so we stick to the all American type foods......Electric Umbrella or the Liberty Inn.
