Where can I get a carriage ride at WDW? Which location do you prefer?

Also, can anyone tell me the cost of this? I see on this site it says $30. Is that per person?

Would you do horseback riding or the carriage?

DBF & I go horseback riding all the time so I'm thinking a carriage ride might be nice.

Are the reservations for this made 30 days in advance?

Thanks!

Sheri

From what I know about this you can catch the carriage rides from POR or at the Campground in front of Crockett's tavern. You can reserve these by making a phone call when you get to the resort (I'm not sure about how many days out from home). The 30 is for the entire carriage ride usually they can acomadate 2 adults and three children per carriage.

we did this last year and it was nice. you go on one of the tracks toward WL from fort wilderness. very leisurely.

I saw the carriage go by quite a few times at Port Orleans Riverside, but never got to ride it. It looked like so much fun though. The carriage just looked perfect going by all the mansions in the moonlight. Very romantic. The horse and carriage usually sits by the marina in the evening and you can go up and rent it there.

Is a Reservation needed in late Feb or can you just walk up to the carriage?

Thanks!

anybody know if you can slip a glass of champagne in there somewhere?:teeth:
