Where to dine w/a group of 15

I'm going on a group trip with 15 people for my friend's bachelor/bachelorette trip. When I go online to see what sort of dining reservations are available it acts as if I can select up to 20 ppl on one reservations but then the only restaurants that show up for any times at all are the character dining locations, not something we planned on doing this trip. Has anyone gone with such a big group and if so where did you eat? Are these character meals the only places that will accommodate such a large group? We are at the 60 day mark now for the last day of our 3 day trip, is it possible that everything else is just already booked for a group of this size? Do we need to just call to find out what is really available? Or are we just stuck with counter service/no reservations?

I think Jazz Kitchen can take that large of a party...but you may need to call direct.

Also call Disney Dining direct. They can often accommodate larger parties on the first available seating. It is easier to start at opening with a large table then break it up vs trying to assemble a large party table once up and running.

Cool thanks so much guys. I’m just trying to help out my friend but she’s the one doing the actual reservations. She’s going to try to call later today. :)

I've been able to make reservations online for a group of 12 at Carnation Cafe, River Belle, and Jazz Kitchen. I had to call for Wine Country Trattoria, and that reservation had to be split as their max in one reservation is 10.

I would have thought that, given a bit of notice beforehand, that the Earl of Sandwich and also Catal, alongside the other places mentioned in this thread should be able to accommodate you all. Maybe inform them the day before you intend to eat, giving times etc of when you should all be there so that they'll be aware and can cope without too many problems. Guess it is just courtesy really.

We've done groups that large (or a bit larger) at Jazz Kitchen (in a private room) and Naples (on the patio) -- AP discount for both. Had to call the restaurants to book directly. NR can do a group that large, but there won't be an AP discount. CCR can do a group that large, in a private room, with an AP discount.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone and the heads up about where gives AP discounts. My friend is going to call around tomorrow, so it’s nice to have a list of suggestions built up just in case she needs them :)

There is always that 15 thousand dollar meal Disneyland offers for a group just your size. :flower1:
Omg I wish our group could afford that! That would be a dream. I’ll be sure to book it if I happen to win the lottery between now and then ;)
