New here...not sure where to post this question. Wow, there are so many forums!

It will be our first time staying in Vero Beach this summer, and we're wondering what family-friendly restaurants are closest to the resort. Thanks in advance! :earsboy:

We ate at Captain Hiram's a few summers ago when we went to Vero. We had 4 kids in two families (2 13 yo boys, 11 yo girl and a 7 yo girl). We ate out on the deck and had a great time. It is a really big place. We did get to hear some live entertainment when we were there. The food was really good and very reasonably priced. I hope to return to VB next summer, and Capt. Hiram's will definitely be on our "must do" list! We ate at Sonya's (at the resort) for the character breakfast and the seafood buffet night. Both meals were very good.

ditto on Capt. Hirams, they just remodeled and the inside looks great. we ate there this past easter, we love this place and you will too if you like fish & shrimp.

We went to Captain Hiram's and the Ocean Grill with a 5 year old, and both places were great! Have a nice trip!

Voting for the Ocean Grill here

Great Mexican restaurant.... something like Aye Jalico????
There are three in Vero. Ask at the desk they have a list of Restaurants.

Also just across the road to rt 1 make a left there is a great Italien Place on the right hand side. Inexpensive, lots of food and family atmosphere.
