While we're in WDW in Feb, my niece will be turning 9. She's going that morning to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, but then wants to have a party with the rest of the family. That's made up of 12 people total, ages ranging from 5-65.

Where would you book the ressie at? All kids are good at higher end restaurants, and she's very mature for a 9 year old. I'd like somewhere that would make a big deal about her birthday. We'll probably buy a cake, and also have flowers delivered.

Thanks in advance :lovestruc

WDW does offer a birthday party option at the park, just FYI. http://www.wdwinfo.com/just_for_kids/birthdays.htm

Beyond that, I would say to play up to her favorites. The meals with princesses are nice for her, but it would end up being all about her. If you are on the DDP, there are many 1 credit options. If not, then I would say to pick her favorite food/character experience and have everyone enjoy in the fun. :) Chef Mickey's offers great food and character interaction. If she loves BBQ and a live show, there is the Hoop Dee Doo Review. Also, there is just about one of every kind of cuisine available at WDW, so for me, it's kind of hard to say that you should go here or there without knowing her (and your family's) preferences better. (For example, my favorite place to sit and enjoy a meal is either at lunch at the Liberty Tree Tavern, the Crystal Palace buffet, or Le Cellier, but our family loves that type of food).

You might also try to see what park you are going to be going to that day, in an effort to make the planning a bit easier.

We have celebrated birthdays at Crystal Palace numerous times for breakfast and they always make it special. The people who work there are also very helpful and nice, making experience wonderful. They usually have confetti on the table and then bring out a cupcake with a candle etc. Hope she has as magical birthday :)

I celebrated my birthday at the Epcot Norway restaurant Arekush that I can't spell.
I had my picture taken with five Disney princess, much to the chagrin of my wife. We'd never eaten there before which is why we wanted to try it, and the food was excellent. I'm sure your nine year old niece will appreciate the princesses more then me also.
