so I've been reading about what everyone thinks are the best shoes and I want to buy crocs and teva mush flip flops for our trip.

Problem is I waited too long and now it's too late to get them shipped (we leave Fri) so i need to find them in a store.

Any ideas where I can find these shoes? I did the same thing (waited too long) for raincoats and now I'm running around for those too. Bad planning on my part.

thanks!

I would be a little weary of buying new shoes right before leaving and not having proper time to "break them in" Do you have another pair you could take that are super cozy? or at least to have as back-up in case the new ones give you any problems? :confused3

I have sneakers I could wear and the kids have sandals and sneakers. I'll probably bring them just in case. But I would rather not have to wear sneakers at the park
How long do they need to break in?

I bought my Teva Mush flip flops at Sports Authority. I believe they were $20-25. I LOVE them and wore them for 4 days in the parks. My feet were never sore or tired. I don't recall them taking long to break in, I wore them around the house for a couple of days.

I have seen Tevas at Famous Footwear as well as Sportsman's Warehouse. Don't know if you have either around you.

I know Famous Footwear sells the Teva's and some Crocs but I would say go to their website and use the store locator then call the store to make sure they have the style and size you want so you don't have to run all over town looking for them.
In my experience I did not need to break in my Teva's (mush) before I wore them to Comic Con for 5 days and I've never needed to break in any of my Crocs but I think that would depend on what style you get.

For the tevas, DSW usally has a bunch of them. Famous Footwear usually has a very small selection. Dicks sporting goods sells some crocs and tevas. Gander mountain may have some tevas. Crocs, see if you have a croc store in town or check dillards/macy's/other department stores. Dillards I know carries Tevas if you have one of them as well as crocs.

For breaking them in, no worries there never had a problem with them

Bought Crocs last year (forgot mine from home) and wore them the first time at Disneyland and never had any problems, not really a shoe you need to break in. (IMO) I purchased them at "Orange at the Block" strip mall from the Croc store and paid about 18.00 for them. Don't know if they are still located there but the mall is just off the freeway coming from John Wayne airport, maybe 2-3 miles from Disneyland.
