Where to buy ready bed near WDW?

On our previous trips DD has slept happily in the pack and play. In fact, after a day in the parks she has virtually begged to go in it at bedtime!

Next trip she will be 2 years 8 months, I am worried she may be too big for the pack and play.

If I need to buy her a My First Ready Bed where could I easily buy one near WDW? On walmart.com it says they are 'online only'. Does this really mean you cannot get them in stores?

Will the ready bed be heavy and bulky to bring on the flight home? We live in England. I have seen them here but haven't looked to see if they are heavy.

Thanks for any replies!

Perhaps you could order it online and have it sent to the resort?

I have just a "regular" ready bed (not toddler) and we shipped it both ways. My DD(6) found it very comfortable. It would fit in a small suitcase-even carryon.

I actually just inquired about something pretty similar...you can rent a toddler bed from www.abbf.com. They will bring it to your resort, and it will be waiting for you when you get there. They have all sorts of baby and kid items you can rent! You should check it out.

I actually did this too. When DD was 5 and she LOVED it!!! I was afraid the other kids (3 1/2 and 1 1/2) would fight over it but they didn't. I just thought it was cheaper for me to buy the ready bed and then I'd have it for home and future trips. Sorry don't know why I didn't think to suggest this to you as you may find this is a much simpler option. Everything was super clean from ABBF and I would use them again if I needed them.

We mail down a box directly to the hotel. Perhaps you can do this? We send a box down and we ship it back right from the hotel. I don't know how much it would cost you to send it back to the UK it may be quite a bit of $$$. We have always used ABBF and loved them. We will be using them again on our next trip.

Thanks for the replies. We would need to rent a toddler bed from ABBF for 14 nights and it would cost more than buying a ready bed. Also mailing stuff from here is very expensive so I dont want to buy one here and mail it. I don't think I could order it online and have it shipped direct to the hotel- they would need the ressie number and arrival date etc.

I will just go to a store and buy one if I need to. Even if I left it behind when I came home, they are so cheap it would still be worth it for the 14 nights use.

I am still hoping she will be ok in the pack and play! But it is nice to have a back up plan.

Thanks again for all the input.

I did not notice before your dd's age at the time of the trip. My dd was in a regualr bed by that age. She would be just right for a trundel bed, they are very low to the ground.
