Where to buy pillow cases? Tips on doing pillowcases?

Where can I buy inexpensive pillowcases? Thanks! Any tips on doing an iron on on those? I thought about doing an iron on and then having the characters sign. Will that last? Do I use sharpies? Thanks

Hi, I just purchased a pillow case today at Michaels for $1.97. It was in the same aisle as the t-shirts.

Thanks! Do pillowcases stand up to washings when you do a iron on transfer? Do you write on them with sharpies and how does that last? Thanks for any answers!

I think a sharpie would go through to the other side...what about a fabric marker? we are trying this in september

I was doing my daughter's DIS t-shirts today and had an extra transfer, so she asked me to do a pillowcase for her - it turned out really cute, we'll see how it stands up! I was thinking about going to someplace like Anna's Linens (not sure where all that chain is) and getting a few pkgs of plain whites to play with.
