We're leaving in less than 3 weeks for my daughter's first Disney trip and I'm wondering where I can get child themed luggage. It doesn't have to be Disney (though of course that would be great), but any cartoon character, animal, etc. would be fine. I started getting her stuff ready for the trip and realized she needs her own bag (tecnically she could use one we already have, but they're all so big and her clothes are so tiny they don't take up that much space so I'd rather get her a smaller piece).

Wal-mart and Target both carry cute child-sized character rolling bags that are smaller versions of a carryon-size case. They are reasonably priced, and I have seen Kim Possible, Barbie, Bratz, lots of superhero ones, Disney Princesses, and Dora. They also have large rolling backpacks.

Hope this helps! Have fun on your trip!!!

Thanks! I'll head out to Target today to look around. Everytime I go there I end up buying so much stuff we don't need so my fiancé tries to keep me away from the store so I guess that's why I didn't think of Target (since the last time I was there was 2 days before my daughter was born and I wasn't thinking of luggage then).

Have you considered getting her a fun colored carry-on size rolling suit case. I don't know what size it is exactly but basically it's the size you can take on the plane and I use it alot for weekend trips.

Anyway, I was thinking that a suitcase like that would grow with her a little and would still be fun because it's hers. You could get a disney luggage tap and maybe some patches or something if you wanted to make is 'Dis'-tinct.

Yes, bright colored luggage without characters is fine too. As long as it looks 'childish' it's fine with me. I know she doesn't care now since she's a baby, but like you said, something that she'll be able to use awhile. I looked at the Disney Princess light-up luggage, but it's a nonreplaceable battery so by the time she's old enough to pull it herself and see the wheels light up it probably won't work anymore.
