Where to buy cigarettes on property

I do not smoke but DH does Is there anywhere to buy cigarettes on property ? We are staying at the AOA and will not have a car ! Or is it easier to just bring enough with us for the 10 days we are there ??

The resort gift shops did sell them the last time we were there but I don't know if they still do. The smokers with us usually buy a carton to bring in case they can't buy any on property. You never know when they'll stop selling them. If One of the smokers said they were a lot more expensive at Disney.

It's definitely much, much cheaper to bring them with you. Last I know, I quit 4 years ago, was that all the resort gift shops sold them but they are not visible. You would have to ask the CM.

They also have only a few kinds to pick from. Or you could go to the Hess station near Boardwalk. Bringing your own in your luggage is much more economical and convenient.

I bought them at the resort (BC and POFQ) gift shops in December. If I remember correctly they were around $10/pack and they did not have a big selection. You ask at the counter and the CM gets them out of a drawer.

Definitely have DH bring enough to last him. All of the resort gift shops sell them for a bit over $10/pack and the selection is minimal.

I don't smoke, but I just let a friend borrow some money for a pack of cigarettes yesterday and they were $11.11 for 1 pack of Newports in NY. I should have told her they are cheaper in WDW.

Bring them or plan on hitting the Hess station. The resorts do sell them, sort-of (selection is VERY limited - my brother couldn't get a pack of menthols at all, never mind his brand), but they are very expensive. Hess prices weren't bad, around $6 per pack if I recall correctly, but the resort wanted something ridiculous like $10-12.

It really depends on how much cigarettes cost where you live. The Hess at DTD sells them for around $6 a pack. If you live in a place that charges more than that (I am in Chicago where they are around $10), then he would be better off just buying them there. Otherwise, just make sure he packs a carton in his suitcase and he is good to go.
