Movie studios have different region coding policies. Among major U.S. studios, Paramount Pictures and Universal Studios have released all of their titles region-free.[75][76] Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. have released most of their titles region-free.[77][78][79] Lionsgate and Walt Disney Pictures have released a mix of region-free and region-coded titles.[80][81] 20th Century Fox and MGM have released most of their titles region-coded.[82][83]
In all honesty, I think if you keep your eyes on hotukdeals.com and other sites, you can actually buy most blu-rays cheaper over here now, with the current poor exchange rate. CD's might still be slightly cheaper, but I haven't bought any music for years now except from itunes. I do know that most new release cd's tend to be around £7.99 in Asda when I look, and I'm not sure how much cheaper they'd be in the States right now?
We use Google Earth for all sorts of things related to our holiday. From checking on our villa location to make sure it has a south facing pool to working out how to get from epcot to Beaches n Cream. We have also pinpointed all of our favourite locations and often have a look just for the dun of it.
