Hi. :wave2: DH thinks we need a new tv. Well I guess so, our is about 15 years old and a huge floor model. So what store in Ontario should we be heading too? DH's uncle had trouble with one from Future shop so Dh doesn't want there. Best Buy, Walmart, We saw good price ones at Zehrs in Cambridge.?

I would strongly suggest considering the nice staff at 2001 Audio-Video. The prices are great -- the product is A1 -- the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If you go to the one in Cambridge on Pinebush Rd. (right in front of Sam's Club), might I kindly suggest you ask for Darryl. He's a younger fellow (kind of looks like Matt Damon) and was very helpful to me when I was researching a video camera -- which I happily bought at 2001 Audio-Video. The price was over $100 less than the exact same product at Best Buy. :thumbsup2

They also have a location on Sportsworld Dr. across from the McDonald's.

We just bought a TV at Best Buy in Kitchener with no problems. A few weeks later 2001 had the same TV on sale for the price we paid, so friends bought the same TV at Best Buy, but they got it 10% cheaper with the price match guarantee.

as long as you can return it if you have to any where is good just look at the price match policy.we bought the 32 inch envision lcd at future shop it lasted 1 week and burnrd up inside got a refund no trouble...that was the 3rd one brought in that week so donnnt get the envision ......$799.00 its $1199.00 on the home shopping club ..but its junk

I would also suggest either 2001 or Steves TV in Kitchener. There are always exceptions but many of the sales people in the mass electronics store are not very knowledgeable of the products. You will also usually find superior service with a smaller company.

Best Buy owns Future Shop so if you had issues with one you will likeley encounter them at the other. To be honest I ster clear of the big box retailers when dealing with tv's and stereos etc. I tend to like going to the smaller shop you get better customer service and usually the price isn't that far off teh big box store. We deal with Bob's tv's in London great service and greaft after sales support should you need it.

Powerline in Guelph has awesome selection at very competitive prices.

cnet.com is a great place to research your new TV.

Check out Costco in Kitchener-Cambridge.

They had a huge display on the weekend!
