where to buy a birdhouse?

My MIL requested one for her birthday. I looked at Petsmart and they only had one that was ugggg-ly. I don't want to spend more than like $25. Anyone have any ideas where to look?

Lowe's has some or they did over the summer and if you have a Tractor supply store they have them also.You may be able to order online as well.

Michael's craft store, a couple of jars of acrylic paint, some brushes and hand it over to the kids. I know my Mom would love that!
(just make sure the colors won't combine to make yucky mud colors like red & green etc.)

They sell nice ones at walmart in your price range ...also Loews and even Home Depot.
The craft store ones are not really for outside use actually, they're meant for decorative inside use and are made of really thin wood/pine with weak hangers.....BUT you can varnish them and do'em up if thats what you're after......
I LOVE the birds that we get....I have many feeders and bird houses in my yard. Lovely to hear those birds and Beautiful to see....

SHe does hand painted for around 25$. I saw them at a craft show, they were stunning.

at a Garden Center...like where you would buy shrubs, plants and fertilizer. The one near me (I'm in CT, and the big one here is Vinny's) has a big section with bird feeders, bird seed and

ARe there any locally-owned pet stores near you? We've got about 6 nearby to where we live that sell bird houses, feeders and food.
