Where to buy 5 day hoppers with no plus options?

Hi,
I am trying to do some comparison shopping for park hoppers and I'm not finding the 5 day hopper passes listed with no plus options. I checked floridaorlandotickets where we purchased from before and ticketmania with no luck. We really have no interest in the water parks so I would rather just get 5 day hoppers. I haven't been able to get on to the official site yet (keeps telling me the server is too busy) but does anyone have any ideas of where to look?

HI!! Do you have a AAA card? I called my local office today for our upcoming trip and the prices were $230 and change for Adults and $182 and change for child. This was for a 5 day park hopper ticket (no pluses). They also sell 6 day tickets as well. I hope this helps.

Go to the AAA web site for price info

I called and also checked thier web site:

$223 for 5-day PH passes for adult
$178 for 5-day passes for child

and these prices INCLUDE tax!

I called AAA and they said that you do not need to be a AAA member to purchase these tickets. These are a far better deal than purchasing them at the gate and I would feel much better buying them from a reputable place like AAA than some unknown ticket broker.


(The above prices are about $8.00 cheaper than the Disney Stores advance purchase prices)

I got the exact same passes that you want. The Disney Store has them. They have regular and plus passes. You just tell them how many days you want and they will load them at the register for you and the prices are the same as if you had to order from the Disney website. Now if you don't have a Disney Store near you, then ordering from the website is the way to go. Make sure you go to disneyworld.com not the store website. I researched the AAA prices and they seemed to be higher than buying direct from Disney. If you do wait until you get there, you will pay a higher price, guaranteed.

The difference with AAA tickets and the other sites is that the prices for AAA INCLUDE tax - the other sites are PLUS tax. I bought 5 day hopper passes with no Pluses for $221 - that was the total price. If you purchase online, the ticket price will add tax and most often a shipping fee or handling fee.

We bought our 5 day PHP for $220. Don't forget you will get a Diamond Lot parking pass through AAA! If you are driving, it is a wonderful perk!

It is a pass for you to park in the "up-front" parking lots. This may be the AAA or handicapped lot, depending on what time you arrive. Granted, you still have to pay the parking fee, but we tried it in Dec. and we were very pleased with the parking. Most of the time we were so close, we didn't even worry about riding the trams! (especially since we had a stroller to tote too! )

Apperently, all AAA offices are different. My local office does give out the diamond pass unless you book a package deal with them. Just by buying your tickets through them doesn't get you the parking pass or the other ammenities that go along with. Those perks are only for package deals. Also, the ticket prices do vary from one office to another as I had a friend of mine in another state check her local office and they were cheaper than my local office here.

My AAA office only sells the 4 day park hoppers.

Does anyone know if you can buy them off of the AAA website. I looked around a little but couldn't figure out how to buy passes only and not a package.

Is there a AAA office near Disney property that I could buy these?

Midatlantic AAA also only sells the 4-day hopper not 5-day. On the home page of the AAA website there are several subtopics. Under "Membership" there is a link for "attraction tickets". That is where the various tickets are sold outside of vacations.

I haven't tried but I understand that BJ's/Sams Clubs may sell discounted tickets.

I am buying mine one per month from the Disney store as the advance price is pretty good.

I just checked out our local AAA online and they do have the 5 day hoppers but they are $230. Does anyone know if you are allowed to buy them from another chapter ? I'll also have to check out Bj's as DMIL is a member and she is also going on the trip with us.

Try doing a search for AAA Carolinas. I bought ours through the Asheville, NC branch, and it was a very smooth transaction!

I posted my original dillema that my local AAA office doesn't sell five day passes. I actually learned that no office in Wisconsin sells the five day.

I looked around on the AAA website and found out that if you purchase tickets in Georgia or Tennessee it is only $212 including tax for an adult! They will not ship them to me here. I have a friend who lives in Augusta, Georgia but she is not a AAA member. I asked the AAA rep if you had to be a member to purchase those disount tickets and she said you do.

Another poster on this thread said their experience is that you do not have to be a AAA member. Can anyone say for certain?

Hi,

I see you're in Madison, Wisconsin. Do you have anyone that's going to the Twin Cities or other parts of MN who could pick them up for you? I got ours through our AAA agency in Duluth for $222 each (5 day hoppers, no pluses). They didn't ask if we were members (although we are). I assume probably any AAA in Minnesota might have them at the same price.
